The Call-out Agent, sends alarm messages out over the telephone. To set the default settings for the agent, click the Telephony folder in the Multimedia Configurator. Refer to Telephony Agents for more information.
The following configuration fields are available for the Call-out Agent in the Configurator tree control under Local Phone. Local Phone is an example Call-out Agent configuration.

Media Item Name: Enter a name for the Call-out Agent configuration.
Node: Click the ellipsis button to select a Node.
Description: Allows you to add comments to the agent configuration.
Media Template: You must choose a template to be used with the agent. The template determines the actual message that gets sent to the phone number specified. The Configurator includes a template, called Default Telephone, created for sending call-out messages over the phone. For more information about templates, please see Media Templates.
TEST button: Tests your call-out configuration.
Scheduling: If you are using scheduling, choose from the configured schedules on the drop-down list. See Schedules for more information.
Role: Select a role from the drop-down list. For information about roles, please see Working With Roles.
Enable Alarm Prioritization: When this check box is checked, the multimedia system processes alarms based on the severity level of the alarm. If the check box is not checked, alarms are processed only on a first-in-first-out basis.
Phone Number To Call: Enter the phone number you want the agent to call.
Acknowledge Code: Enter the number you wish to use as the acknowledge code.
Retry: Sets the number of attempted calls to make to the specified phone number before timing out.
Retry Delay: Sets the number of seconds between subsequent phone call retry attempts.
Apply button: Saves all changes to the configuration database.
Reset button: Clears all recently added information.
Refresh button: Returns the original settings before they were changed, as long as the Apply button has not been clicked.
