GraphWorX64 has a three-dimensional (3D) feature that gives you special features for creating dynamic displays that provide a more powerful and compelling user experience, especially when you are interacting with dynamic machine-based controls and three-dimensional sites and objects. Example.
You add a 3D viewpoint by clicking the 3D view button on the Home ribbon, then dragging your cursor on the 2D work surface to create a box the size of the viewport you are creating. For help, refer to Activating and Creating a 3D Viewport.
In a 3D space, you can create a runtime user experience that simulates interaction with a 3D environment and create displays that allow users to:
Visualize real-time data in a three-dimensional realm, using animation to reflect actual data originating from OPC tags.
Do virtual de-constructions of machines to look inside machines for problems.
Move virtually throughout a 3D space, for example through a reactor, inside a machine, or across a campus.
Monitor sites remotely, jump from floor to floor, move from building to building, or travel from street to street.
Manipulate objects and take action remotely and then monitor progress.
The ICONICS GenDemo that is available with GraphWorX64 has several industry examples that show you ways to put 3D to work for you. These demos are stored in the GenDemo library as GraphWorX64 files; you can open them in GraphWorX64 to look at their configurations. The GenDemo also has a number of 2D and 3D Industry Case Studies.
The GenDemo also comes with a Learning Center where you can learn more about the 3D features of GraphWorX64. The Learning Center is interactive and lets you explore each feature and even provides examples.
