GraphWorX64 provides a wide range of display options; including the basic features of GraphWorX64 and its 2D features. You can use a 2D object and 3D object together if needed. One advanced feature of GraphWorX64 is 3D views. 3D features use many of the same tools and concepts that are used by GraphWorX64 2D features. The 3D graphics that you use in GraphWorX64 displays can:
Model 3D objects and add textures and images to their surfaces
Animate objects based on real-time data
Create 3D objects that dynamically interact
Add events and scripting to 3D objects
Overlap a 3D layer of objects with a 2D layer of objects.
There are a number of ways to create 3D content. For example, you can:
Draw your own 3D objects from scratch, using primitives.
Use predefined objects from the GraphWorX64 3D Symbols Library. You can modify objects in the Symbols Library and save them for their modified use.
Import existing models from external applications that support XAML (Extensible Application Markup Language) file format or 3DS file format.
Add 3D Dynamics to make objects move at runtime.
Anticipate possible collisions of objects in a display by using the Collision Detection feature. For more information, you can read How Collision Detection Works.
Allow runtime users to move through a 3D display with ease by Animating 3D Views at Runtime.
