The MIB tree control, shown in the figure below, is used to load and unload MIBs from the database. The MIB tree is a dictionary that contains the translations between numbers and names (and all the information about the names). Unlike traditional dictionaries, the structure of this one is a tree, because of the tree structure of the SNMP data. This structure makes it easier to find an item inside this MIB dictionary.

Features of the MIB tree control include the ability to:
Create and edit MIB items
Create folders for MIB items
To configure general MIB settings, select the MIB tree control. To populate the MIB Items tree dictionary, you need to parse some standard MIB files. The tree control is populated by the translations retrieved by the selected MIB files, and there is a list of files parsed.
Right click on the MIB folder in the Project Explorer, then select Edit.

Highlight the MIB folder in the Project Explorer and then click on the Edit tool in the Home ribbon.

You will then be able to edit the MIB settings in the right pane of the Workbench in the SNMP MIB Parser.

Click the Add button to browse for your desired MIB (*.mib) files. Click Remove to delete any listed files from an existing list. Click Reset to reset the MIB database and delete all files and OIDs (only default MIBs will be loaded in the database). Once you have completed adding MIB Files, click the Apply button to save your changes. To exit, click the X in the MIB folder tab at the top of the screen.
