The features on this page require a GENESIS64 Advanced license and are not available with GENESIS64 Basic SCADA . |
GENESIS64 uses the organizational structure of a project file to organize displays, controls, and settings into a form that can be saved and loaded at another time. Project files that you save can be saved in a compressed and encrypted form (as an option). Project files can be reopened:
to continue working on a display or set of displays' design
to distribute and deploy the project environment to production systems
to create a standard work environment
to quickly change from one display environment to another
When you install GENESIS64 a default project is created. You can continue working in the default project, making changes that are appropriate for your situation. However, very soon you will find that it is important to create your own project so that your work can be saved in a custom form that supports the features you need to get your work done more efficiently. Projects are the key to many efficiencies in GENESIS64 , so you will want to examine this feature of the Workbench Classic very carefully.
