MergeWorX uses GenEvents to report the status of the merging process. A GenEvent message is fired at the warning level if merging of a batch of data failed. Other messages are sent at the normal level, and in the case of a merge failure, contain detailed information about the failed data merge.
There are a few notes to keep in mind when processing using MergeWorX:
Hyper Historian must be running for merging to take place.
Hyper Historian cannot write data that is older than its Hyper Historian start time.
There are no strict limits on the amount of data that can be processed. Limitations are set by CPU size, the configuration of the FrameWorX server, the amount of data returned, and by each individual plug-in.
You can enable MergeWorX GenEvent logging in the Workbench using the FrameWorX provider. Expand the provider to show the GenEvent Settings node, then double-click it to bring up the properties window on the right side. Check "MergeWorX" in list of event log applications, as shown below.

To view logged GenvEvents, you can use the Windows NT event log or the ICONICS Alarm viewer.
In GraphWorX, add the Alarm Viewer control and double click the control. Select Grid and on the Source Tab, select in Combo Box Event Subscription (Read Only).
