The AlarmWorX Multimedia Configurator allows you to link alarm configurations to one or more nodes. Because the Multimedia Server uses a separate thread for each alarm configuration, you can also link multiple alarm configurations to each node.

Note: If the AlarmWorX Multimedia configuration is going to be used on the local machine, it is not necessary to configure nodes. In this case, the name of the alarm configuration must be "Default". |
To configure and link a node, use the following procedure:
Right-click the Nodes folder in the tree control of the Configurator and select 
Node from the pop-up menu. The Multimedia Node form displays.
Type a name in the Node Name text box.
Click Apply.
Right click the Node you just added on the tree control and select Node-to-Configuration Link from the pop-up menu. The Multimedia node-To-Configuration Link form displays.
Select a Configuration Name from the drop down list.
Click Apply.
