Reinitialize Device

To Reinitialize a Device:

1. From the Workbench, expand your Project in the Project Explorer, then expand Data Connectivity.

   • You'll see the BACnet node of the Project Explorer, as shown below.

2. Expand the BACnet node and then the Devices node. Right-click on the device you wish to reinitialize, then click on Reinitialize Device, as shown below.

-OR-

Select the device you wish to reinitialize, then click on the Reinitialize Device button, shown below, in the Tools section of the Home ribbon in the Workbench.

3. The Reinitialize Device window appears, as shown below.

• Reinitialize State of Device - The pulldown menu allows you to set the reinitialize state of the device including AbortRestore, Coldstart, EndBackup, EndRestore, StartBackup, StartRestore and Warmstart.

• Password - Enter the password for the device.

4. Click on the Execute button to start the reinitialization. The following window will appear to let you know that your reinitialization request has succeeded.
