Adding a File Object

In order to create a File object and to configure its properties, follow these steps:

1. Launch the Workbench.
2. Switch it to Runtime mode by clicking the ‘Runtime’ button in the very left of the ‘Home’ tab in the ribbon bar.
3. Switch to the BACnet provider.
4. Double-click on the object to open its properties.
5. Choose ‘File’ in the drop-down list.
6. Fill in all the properties you need to configure and press the Apply button to create a File object in the device (if the device supports it).
