ICONICS offers a consistent user experience across all devices and operating systems by utilizing a preliminary interaction called the AppHub. This open interface is meant to allow quick access to graphics, alarms, trends and assets. Although configuration can allow direct loading of GraphWorX64 displays, the AppHub serves to unify the MobileHMI platform regardless of the device.
AppHub WinRT
The MobileHMI AppHub is a consistent organization for all content that is configured within the Workbench’s MobileHMI Provider. The AppHub is split into the concept of Layouts that will determine what Smart Tiles are shown to users and whether or not the AppHub is filtered for specific devices. Device Filters are custom or pre-configured to filter the Layouts based different factors that can distinguish devices. Each layout can contain Smart Tiles representing HMI displays, alarms, trends and assets. Configuration options include the ability to OEM the AppHub by replacing images and text throughout the app. Images for tiles can also be uploaded for use in Smart Tiles (although Smart Tile Templates can also accomplish this).

Note: Due to the lack of .net framework on iOS, Android and Amazon devices, some items in the HTML5 version of the MobileHMI App are still being implemented.
