The MIB tree control, shown in the figure below, is used to load and unload MIBs (Management Information Base items) from the database. The MIB tree is a dictionary that contains the translations between numbers and names (and all the information about the names). Unlike traditional dictionaries, the structure of this one is a tree, because of the tree structure of the SNMP data. This structure makes it easier to find an item inside this MIB dictionary.

Features of the MIB tree control include the ability to:
Create and edit MIB items
Create folders for MIB items
To configure MIB settings, expand the MIB node in the Project Explorer. The control is populated by the translations retrieved by the selected MIB files, and there is a list of files parsed.
Right-click the MIB node in the SNMP provider in the Workbench, then click on Edit, as shown below.

Select the MIB node in the Project Explorer, then click on the Edit button, shown below, in the Edit section of the Home ribbon in the Workbench.

This opens the MIB properties window in the middle of the Workbench, as shown below.

MIB Files Loaded
Load MIB file - Clicking this link opens a file browser where you can navigate to your selected MIB file.
Reset MIB Repository - Clicking this link resets the current list of MIB Files Loaded, along with Module Name and File Name.
Click Close to return to the Workbench.
Expand the MIB node in the Project Explorer. Right-click an MIB item and click on Edit, as shown below.

Select an MIB item in the Project Explorer, then click on the Edit button, shown below, in the Edit section of the Home ribbon in the Workbench.

Basic Settings
Name - Name of the MIB item.
Full OID - The identifier for every SNMP tag is the Full OID. This information enables the retrieval of the associated data in the MIB dictionary tree (if it exists).
Description - Enter a description of the MIB item in the text entry field.
