Derived calculations are based on standard calculations variables and energy variables values. They are used for normalized consumption values, defining custom cost calculations or in any custom calculation that an end user would like to define. The typical steps are:
User defines energy variables associated with the derived calculations he intends to configure.
User defines standard calculations associated with the derived calculations he intends to configure.
User commits changes and then derived calculations can be added.
Energy Variables Associated with Energy Asset
Once the previous steps are completed, the user can add Derived Calculations in the Consumption Tab using the Add Derived Calculations link. When the link is activated the Derived Calculations browser will be displayed and the user can select the desired derived calculations to add for the target meter type.

Once a derived calculation is added, the user can only edit the associated units and the Hyper Historian collector group
