Carbon calculations are basically another type of derived calculations; however, they are grouped under the carbon calculations category. The typical steps are:
User defines energy variables for CO2 coefficients associated with the specific carbon calculation he intends to configure and associated meter type.
User defines standard calculations associated with the derived calculations he intends to configure and associated meter type.
User commits changes and then derived calculations can be added
Energy Variables Associated with Carbon Calculations
Once the previous steps are completed, the user can add Carbon Calculations in the Carbon Tab using the Add Carbon Calculations link. When the link is activated the Carbon Calculations browser will be displayed and the user can select the desired carbon calculations to add for the target meter type.

Once a carbon calculation is added, the user can only edit the associated units and the Hyper Historian collector group
