Hyper Historian Express is a light version of Hyper Historian that provides easy scalability to the full version. The product is included as part of the installation of either GENESIS64 or MobileHMI.
Hyper Historian Express can be used as a replacement for TrendWorX64 Logger, although TrendWorX64 Logger will still be available in GENESIS64 installations for full backward compatibility. Hyper Historian Express is similar in functionality to the full version of Hyper Historian except for no support for input expressions, a 5,000 tag limitation and a few additional exceptions (noted below). It also provides a migration path to the full version of Hyper Historian.

Hyper Historian Express is configured using the same Workbench tool as the full-featured Hyper Historian, with support for the newer Workbench, Workbench Classic or the Workbench.
When configuring Hyper Historian Express, each Workbench hides/disables non-supported features.

Upgrading Hyper Historian Express to the full version of Hyper Historian requires changing the license to a full Hyper Historian License (or adding a full Hyper Historian License). It requires the installation of the full version of Hyper Historian. Once the upgrade has occurred, any existing Hyper Historian configuration databases are 100 percent compatible (from those created within Hyper Historian Express to those being used within the full version of Hyper Historian).
