You can configure General settings, Empty the Agents Queue, and Report Hardware Failures. Before configuring the General settings make sure you configure a modem for your computer.
Configure a modem for your computer by going to the operating system's control panel and following the steps for configuring a modem.
Ensure that your modem is working correctly by using HyperTerminal™ or any third-party dial-up software.
Once you configure the modem you can configure the General settings for the Pager/SMS/GSM/TAP Multimedia Agent:
In the AlarmWorX Multimedia Configurator, open the Configuration folder and expand Multimedia Agent. Double click Pager/SMS/GSM/TAP or right click and select Edit from the shortcut menu.
Click the General Settings button to display the Multimedia Pager TAP/SMS dialog box. In the Pager Configuration section, you can choose to enable the TAP log file, TAP Dialog, Tap Acknowledge, SMS Dialog, or SMS Acknowledge. In the SNPP Pager Configuration section enter the SNPP Server Host Name:, Enter a Port, Protocol Level (1-3), Pin, and Password.
Click OK.
Click the Empty Agent's Input Queue button if you want to delete what is in the agents queue.
Click the down arrow and select how you want to Report Hardware Failures.
Click the Apply button to save your settings.
