Device Nodes

To Add a Device Node:

1. Expand your project in the Workbench and then the Data Connectivity and Modbus nodes. Double-click on the Device Nodes node or right-click it in the Project Explorer, then select Edit, as shown below.

-OR-

Select the Device Nodes node then click on the Edit button, shown below, in the Edit section of the Home ribbon in the Workbench.

2. This opens the Device Nodes properties window in the Workbench, shown below.

• Machine Name - Enter a Machine Name, in the text entry field, connected to the device associated to each node.

• Device - Enter a Device, to associate to each node, in the text entry field.

Once these fields are completed, you can then click on the to jump to the device's configuration properties.

3. Click on Apply, then Close to return to the Workbench.
