Displays at Runtime

The GraphWorX64 display has a number of features that enable runtime users to change the view and control features at runtime. Runtime users can:

Show or hide the runtime ribbons
Magnify areas of the display by zooming in and out
Access predefined views
Load a file based on a URL or open a file using the file system
Browse forward or back in the browse history
Print a display
Display interface features such as: the menu, scroll bars, status bar, different sized icons
Login or logout of a display
Open the Carousel to view a sequence of displays
Go to pre-set views (refer to Animating 3D Views at Runtime and Creating 2D Views for Runtime Users)
Go to the Card Flow view to preview previously-opened displays
On a Windows 7 platform, use a touch-screen to pan, zoom, orbit, and select; for more information, refer to GraphWorX64 on Windows 7
Use caching to improve runtime performance; for more information, refer to Getting Displays to Open More Quickly

To switch between Runtime and Configuration modes:

Click the Runtime button on the menu bar to switch to runtime mode, or press Ctrl + M.
Click the Configure button on the menu bar to switch to configuration mode, or press Ctrl + M.

The table below lists the important commands and keystrokes available at runtime.

Keystroke	Function	Description
File Functions
Ctrl+O	Open	Opens an existing display file.
Ctrl+P	Save As	Prints out the current display.
View Functions
Ctrl+Numpad+	Zoom In	Zooms in by increments of 50 percent.
Ctrl+Numpad-	Zoom Out	Zooms out by increments of 50 percent.
Ctrl+W	Fit to Window	Fits all objects inside the work area.
Ctrl+Shift+H	Default Zoom/Pan	Restores the default zoom setting.
Ctrl+W	Fit to Window	Fits all objects inside the work area.
Runtime Functions
Ctrl+M	Runtime	Toggles configuration and runtime modes.
Help Functions
F1	Help Topics	Launches the online Help for the application.
Menu Commands
Alt+Spacebar	Windows command	Move, restore, resize, minimize and maximize commands are on this menu.
Alt+F	File menu	Opens the application menu with New, Open, Open URL, Save, Save As, Tools, Log In/Log Out, and Exit commands.
Ctrl+Shift+F12	Carousel	Opens the Carousel utility (in a GraphWorX64 display only).
Alt+? or F1	Help command	Use this command to open the Help system.
